Relief Teams provide short-term relief in care and emergency situations through physical assistance or repair services.
Relief Teams offer the unique opportunity to stretch out a helping hand in a critical care moment and begin to build a bridge to lead someone to Jesus through serving.
You can be on one or both of our Relief Teams:
· Local Relief Team – Partners with the Care Ministry to provide short-term relief in care situations and responds to natural disasters that hit our county.
· National Relief Team - In partnership with Samaritan’s Purse, responds to natural disasters that hit the southeast.
How Do Relief Teams Work?
We are looking for people with a variety of skills and abilities, such as home repair/construction, landscaping, automotive repair, ability to connect with people, and more. Fill out the Relief Team Application to apply and let us know your skills and availability.
Once you are approved, you will go through our New Volunteer Training. Then as short-term needs arise, we will contact you if they match your skills and abilities to see if you could help with that project based on your availability. You could help on several projects in a year or just one or two depending on the projects’ needs and your availability.
